Mulugeta Gebru has been Ethiopia director of PfC since 1991. He is recognised as a passionate and innovative development director. His ideas have influenced both government and NGO approaches to community change. He is on a short visit to the UK, so it’s a great opportunity to meet him and hear about the challenges and successes arising from working with some of the poorest communities in the country.
The Ambassadors scheme is an invitation to those who want to develop their relationship with PfC/JeCCDO beneficiaries and projects. We’ll keep you informed about progress, invite you to PfC events such as this, and you’ll have priority for the visits to the projects in Ethiopia to meet staff and beneficiaries. You’ll be our contact person in your area, church or local organisation, and support PfC in our campaigns and projects in whatever way you feel able.
The first Ambassadors visit will take place in early 2017. It will include visits to PfC projects, opportunities to meet staff and beneficiaries – and we’ll also visit some of the main tourist destinations, such as Lalibela and Rift Valley Lakes. You’ll see the real Ethiopia!
